  • Weekly Community Yoga at Tidepools Spa & Wellness

    • When: Thursdays
    • Where: Tidepools Spa & Wellness at Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa, 33000 Cape Kiwanda Drive, Pacific City
    • What: Join us for a morning of relaxation and flow, guided by a Tidepools Spa & Wellness instructor. This deeply relaxing class focuses on breathing techniques paired with grounding postures of deep holds and dynamic twists to calm the body and mind.

      Thursdays 9:30 am – 10:30 am

  • Thanksgiving Dinner at Meridian Restaurant & Bar

    • What: Gather together for Thanksgiving dinner with ocean views a few steps from the inn at Meridian Restaurant & Bar. Their specially crafted prix fixe menu includes seasonal entrées, delicious sides and indulgent desserts: a perfect meal to share in gratitude and celebration.

  • Thanksgiving Dinner at Pelican Brewing

    • When: Thursday, November 28, 2024 | 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
    • Where: 33180 Cape Kiwanda Drive, Pacific City, OR 97135
    • What: Step across the street from the inn for Thanksgiving dinner at Pelican Brewing. Their traditional Thanksgiving menu features Sea N’ Red Ale and herb-brined turkey breast smoked with applewood and topped with Mother of All Storms gravy. Served with house-made sausage and apple stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and a freshly baked dinner roll. The special kid's plate includes turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessert, enjoy a slice of freshly baked pumpkin pie topped with Mother of All Storms whipped cream.

    • What: PC Pour is Pacific City’s fun spot, just steps away from the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. Join the fun at one of PC Pour's many events. What pairs better with good wine than fun activities?
  • Trask River Hatchery

    • When: Fall & Early Winter
    • Where: 15020 Chance Road Tillamook, OR 97141
    • What: Trask River Hatchery has outdoor interpretive signing. Adult salmon viewing is excellent during the fall in the waters below the hatchery and in Gold Creek. Group tours are available with advance arrangements.

      Fish raised: spring and fall Chinook, coho salmon, and winter steelhead

      Wildlife: Birds of prey, fish, wading birds, waterfowl, songbirds
      Facilities: Camp host, restroom

  • Oregon’s King Tides

    • When: November 15-17, 2024, December 13-15, 2024 & January 11-13, 2025
    • What: Plan your trip to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda to coincide with the magnificent King Tides — the highest tides of the season.

  • Whale Watching at Cape Kiwanda

    • When: Late December & Late March
    • What: Each winter, more than 20,000 gray whales pass by the Oregon Coast on their annual migration south from Alaska to Baja Mexico—and you don't have to be out on the water to witness this amazing event; you can see them while standing on the beach or at the top of Cape Kiwanda Dune. Oregon State Park whale watching weeks will be scheduled during prime migration weeks in late December and late March.
