    Campfire Desserts

    • When: Saturdays between March 30th - April 20th, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
    • Where: Hart's Camp
    • What: After a day exploring the North Coast join us at a fireside dessert bar. Share campfire stories with family and friends while creating perfectly toasted marshmallows for s’mores, crisp but gooey inside-out caramel apples, and banana boats loaded with toppings. The choice is yours! We can’t think of a more perfect way to end the day.

    Whale Watching at Cape Kiwanda

    • When: Saturday March 23rd - Sunday March 31st, 10 am - 1 pm daily
    • Where: Top of Cape Kiwanda
    • What: Beginning in late March nearly 20,000 Gray whales will pass by our shores on their annual migration north to their summer home in Alaska. For a special treat join Whale Watching Spoken Here® volunteers at Cape Kiwanda just in front of the Inn at Cape Kiwanda, daily from March 23rd to March 31st, 10 am -1 pm.     Fireside Tasting with Branch Point Distillery

    • When: Friday April 5th, 3 pm – 5 pm

    • What: Come celebrate the adventurous spirit of the Northwest with Branch Point Distillery. Using locally-grown grains and traditional production methods including copper pot distillation, Branch Point creates unique whiskey expressions. They are one of the Northwest's only distillers using the grain triticale, a hybrid of rye and wheat, and the only distillery in Oregon specializing exclusively in whiskey. Branch Point is a family owned and operated distillery located near Dayton in the heart of Oregon wine country. Join us fireside to explore these wonderful spirits and see what surprises await you.

    Nestucca bay Cleanup

    • When: April 13th
    • Where: Bob Straub Park
    • What: Head over to Bob Straub Park and help in the effort to clean up Nestucca Bay. Keeping the beaches of Oregon clean is hard work and a group effort. Every year the community meets up and cleans up miles of beach to help preserve the beach, ocean, and marine life. Let's help keep Oregon green.

      Meet at Bob Straub Park between 8:30am and 9:00am. Participants should wear weather appropriate clothing and bring with them a reusable bucket/bag, gloves, and water bottle.

    • Where: Bob Straub State Wayside Park
    • What: It's confirmed! Pacific City's annual Fourth of July fireworks show is back on for 2019! Join us on July 4th at dusk at Bob Straub State Wayside park for a new and improved Fourth of July Fireworks Show. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

    Dory Days Weekend

    • When: July 19th - 21st
    • Where: Pacific City, Oregon - Kiawanda Community Center and 4 Way Stop
    • What: Join us for the 60th Annual Dory Days; a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City. This festival is hosted by the Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Pacific City Dorymen’s Association.

      Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 am. The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City. Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. The Dorymen’s Association will operate a booth to answer questions from the public and a display of dory boats in the Cape parking.

      Dory Days has been recognized by the Oregon Heritage Commission as an Oregon Heritage Tradition and joins only a handful of other events for this honor.

    Clover’s Day Festival

    • When: Saturday July 6th
    • Where: Cloverdale, Oregon - Just 2 miles North of Pacific City
    • What: The Clover’s Day Festival honors Cloverdale’s rural heritage and dairy industry. Join us on Saturday, July 6th for the 38th annual celebration in downtown Cloverdale.

      The festival kicks off with a pancake breakfast at Nestucca High School, and is followed by the Clover’s Day parade at 11am, led by the prettiest cow in town. The parade is followed by a classic auto show, live music, and more.

      This is one event that local residents and tourists both look forward to each year.

    Cape Kiwanda Reception

    • When: Every Friday and Saturday night from 5:30 - 6:30pm
    • Where: Inn at Cape Kiwanda lobby
    • What: Join us every Friday and Saturday night in the lobby from 5:30-6:30 pm for a Cape Kiwanda Reception. Enjoy good company, Oregon wines, Pelican beer, sparkling cider and appetizers.

    Blowsion Surf Slam

    • When: September 6 - 8, 2019
    • Where: Tierra Del Mar, Oregon
    • What: Gather around the shoreline in Tierra Del Mar, Oregon to see the world's greatest watercraft free-riders this September. This free event is in its 10th year and is an enjoyable event for all. Watch as jet skiers fly into the air doing flips and turns all while being filmed by some of the biggest TV stations. Over 100 professional, amateur, and rookies will hit the waves competing for prizes and points.
